Medical Plans

Employees have a choice of medical plans that provide a wide range of medical and prescription coverage. The company subsidizes a significant portion of employees’ medical premiums and are paid pre-tax


The company provides dental insurance options giving employees the choice to utilize in or out-of-network dentists. The company subsidizes a significant portion of employees’ dental premiums. Dental premiums are also a pre-tax benefit.


Our basic vision coverage is included with our medical plans and covers a wide range of vision-related services and products. The plan covers both in-network and out-of-network doctors. You have the opportunity to purchase additional insurance for enhanced hardware coverage (glasses, contacts), also on a pre-tax basis.

Voluntary Benefits

In addition, employees may choose to enroll in Critical Illness and/or Accident coverage. These plans offer protection in the event of a major illness or unexpected accident and are designed to supplement medical insurance. While the employee covers the cost of these plans, they are available at the lower, group rates.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

EAP offers employees and their family member’s confidential, quick and convenient assistance with counseling services, financial services, legal services and dependent-care services.

Healthcare Spending Account (HSA)

In conjunction with certain medical plan elections, you have the opportunity to participate in an HSA, allowing you to use pre-tax payroll deductions toward medical costs. These monies are portable so you never lose them.

Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)

In conjunction with certain medical plan elections, you have the opportunity to participate in an HRA. This means that the company will make funds available to you to assist in offsetting medical plan costs. These funds, if unused, revert to the company at the end of the plan year.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

BlueCrest offers both a health care and a dependent care flexible spending account. These accounts enable employees to use pre-tax payroll deductions to pay for Internal Revenue Service-permissible out-of-pocket expenses. These funds must be used during the plan year or they are forfeit.

401(k) Retirement Plan

The BlueCrest 401(k) Plan helps employees prepare for financial independence. The plan provides valuable savings and investment options to help you build a secure future. You may choose either pre-tax, post-tax contributions or both. The company matches a portion of your contributions. In addition, each year qualified employees receive a core contribution to their 401(k) plan, whether they choose to contribute from their pay or not.

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Basic Life insurance is a company-paid benefit meaning there is no cost to employees. The benefit is equal to 14 months of your qualified annual earnings to a maximum benefit of $500,000.

Supplemental Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Employees may purchase additional supplemental life and supplemental accidental death and dismemberment insurance for themselves and their family members.


BlueCrest offers benefits-eligible employees both short-term and long-term disability coverage. Basic short-term and long-term disability are fully company paid. You have the option of buying additional long-term disability insurance through payroll deductions.

Paid Vacation

Employees accrue vacation time each year, based on length of service.

Unplanned Absences

BlueCrest offers employees paid time off in the event of illness or other unplanned absences.

Paid Company Holidays

BlueCrest offers 12 paid holidays per year. Some of these days are designated in advance by the company and some are yours to use as you choose.

Tuition Reimbursement Program

BlueCrest offers tuition reimbursement for undergraduate and graduate degree programs to employees after a six-month waiting period.
